Mac app or online downloader?
The online downloader is useful for one supported public video at standard quality. The Mac app is the better choice for best available quality, batches, larger videos, predictable folders, remote tasks, and iPhone-compatible processing.
Save directly to a cloud-synced folder
Choose an iCloud Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Google Drive, or other normal sync folder as the desktop destination when you want the result to appear on another device. Wait until both the download and the cloud upload finish before trying to save it on your phone.

The current public build is for Apple silicon Macs. Do not install it on an Intel-only Mac.
Is hardware processing always used?
It is used for compatible iPhone-friendly processing. Some formats or source conditions may still use a different path.
Can Telegram download directly to my Mac?
Telegram sends the link to VidKite Pro running on your Mac. The computer must remain awake and connected, and the file is saved to the folder selected in VidKite.
Can I download 4K on every platform?
No. 4K is available only when the source and supported public media expose it. Best quality cannot create missing source detail.
