1. Install the app
Windows
- Download the single Windows installer from the official download page.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen steps.
- Open VidKite Pro, choose a save folder, and test a public video link.
The current Windows installer is not digitally signed. If SmartScreen appears, confirm the file came from vidkite.com before continuing.
macOS
- Download the DMG for your Mac processor.
- Open it and drag VidKite Pro into Applications.
- Open the app from Applications.
2. Use the free trial
The trial starts with your first actual download and lasts for 24 hours or 10 successful downloads, whichever comes first.
3. Copy your machine code
- Select Activate in the top-right corner.
- Copy the complete machine code.
- Paste it into the website checkout form.
4. Enter the activation code
- After payment, copy the complete activation code from the result page.
- Paste it into the app activation window.
- Accept the license terms and select Activate Pro.
5. Install updates
Close the old version and install the new one over it. Activation and settings are retained on the same computer.
