Save the video in three steps

Which links work?
Public videos that play in a signed-out browser are the most reliable. Friends-only posts, private groups, deleted posts, and login or region restrictions may block access.
Only download videos you own, have permission to save, or are otherwise legally authorized to download. Follow the source platform's terms and applicable law.
Common problems
The filename is too long
VidKite v1.6.2 shortens unsafe or oversized titles while retaining a useful video identifier. Confirm that your destination folder is writable.
The browser plays it but VidKite cannot
Test the link in a signed-out browser window. A post may appear public inside your account while still requiring membership or login.
A bot task fails but desktop paste works
Keep the latest desktop app open, verify the bot shares the same save location, and send the exact public video URL rather than a feed page.
Download from your phone with a bot
